Adam Lambert recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about Queen’s possible retirement intentions. Given Brian May and Roger Taylor’s ages, it’s possible that they have retirement plans, but the singer, who has been playing with the band since 2011, has indicated that this is not the case. He stated: “I know when I first performed with them, I thought it was probably going to be a one-time thing, but then one thing led to another, and it just snowballed into this beautiful relationship that we’ve had for the past ten years or so.” And I’m overjoyed, I’m so eager to get back on the road in the United States. And I don’t believe that’s the end of it.

“I believe there’s more where that came from.” He was also questioned if Queen would be touring the United Kingdom anytime soon. He gives a brief response: “Not that I’m aware of, but I know it’s not out of the question.” I mean, we just keep moving, don’t we?” Though there appears to be no guarantee for the time being, the vocalist cites one of their previous tours and continues: “Last summer was a real treat; we had a great time.” It was a stunning trip, and we couldn’t wait to get back on the road in front of the fans. And ten sold-out gigs at the O2 were a significant achievement for me personally. I’m grateful for the adventure we’ve taken together.” He’ll go back on the road with Queen by the end of the year, and while additional plans aren’t written in stone, he doesn’t believe it’s ‘the end’ for them. Adam Lambert has had a long and successful solo career. Along with his solo career, he has served as lead vocalist with Queen and Adam Lambert, spanning many world tours from 2014 to 2023.
