While many people were astonished to see a Tommy Lee dick image in their social media feeds last August, his wife, Brittany Furlan, was not. The comedienne and social media celebrity refers to her spouse as a “goofball,” stating that his unexpected character and sense of humor are among the qualities she admires in him. Furlan told People, “That’s what I love about him, that he’s so crazy and wild.
” I know he shares a lot of content that makes me wonder, ‘Oh God, why are you publishing it?’ My husband will publish things he finds amusing. People get upset, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, just remember that this is a 60-year-old man writing on the internet.’ I honestly don’t care.” “I have no control over him,” she adds. In August 2022, the Motley Crue frontman tweeted a selfie that ended at his face but showed him fully frontal sitting in his bathroom. The pair had some fun with the response once the post went viral. Lee later amused a Motley Crue audience by removing his “wiener dog,” a real-life dachshund, from his trousers during a performance.
Furlan, who describes herself as a “extroverted introvert” who abandons her limits when performing, has also allowed her comic perspectives to get vulgar. “I literally just make up stories about everything in my life.” Some will criticize and mock her for it, but “I use comedy to cope with whatever I’m dealing with,” she says. “That’s what I’ve done since I was a child.” I basically learnt that from seeing my parents fight. I’d try to divert their attention by being amusing.”
While parts of Lee’s hedonistic methods were chronicled in the memoir and film The Dirt, Furlan claims the band has moved on from past antics. “Everyone’s pretty much sober now, so they’re really mellow,” she explains. “Everyone has wives and children, so no girls are brought backstage.” The most insane thing they do is have a barbeque and set off fireworks.
